Berry Rich Party Dress

Hey, finished this week, a new party dress in a rich berry tapestry with floral imprint. An above the knee skirt features under skirting in krinalin and a gold belt with heart emblem and dangling chains on the back of the gown. Also comes with matching fish net stockings and feels good against the legs as you move and twist, turn and dance. The skirt flows really nicely and seems to fit all shapes with little to no modification necessary (but you can mod it if you need).

I'll upload a pic of it here when blogger's technical difficulties about pictures passes. In the meantime, take a peek at Daeden's Berry Rich Party Dress at our main store in Moraine today :) Thanks for visiting!

A Dae of Elegance is NOT a part of Certified Model SL, please read.

A D A E O F E L E G A N C E
Quality Fashion Designs from Daeden Jessop
http://daedenjessop.blogspot.com/

First, we want to state that A Dae of Elegance, Daeden Jessop and KookaMonga Walpole never have and never will ask for or require money or fees from our models/staff, for any reason, to be a part of our organization or to participate in any functions or events!!!

With that said ... there have been some very valid concerns that have been brought to our attention regarding the "Certified Model SL" group that we have been promoting as a good thing for our models to join.

Please note, neither our organization or either of our partners/owners has ever been affiliated with Certified Model SL other than to be regular members. We are not part of the ownership of that organization, we do not collect any fee's or income from it and are not partnered with the organization or it's owner in any way.

Previously we were making it a requirement that our models become certified with this group. Upon further consideration and hearing more opinions, A Dae of Elegance has chosen to break ties with this unaffiliated organization at this time. If you choose to become a part of Certified Model SL, that is up to you. It is NO LONGER a requirement of employment with A Dae of Elegance.

This is first to alleviate any confusion or potential misconception or negative views of our organization that could occur as a result of our perceived relationship with "Certified Model SL."

We were excited by the concept of the group, we still think in concept, it's a great idea, but we are not comfortable, as many are not, with the way it is being operated, its goals and its statements regarding the money one must pay to be a part of the organization. We would like to keep an eye on the group for a while and see how it evolves before any further or continued association.

Kooka and I are going to stay as members of the group for now, however, anyone that we personally sent to the Certified Model SL group, that wishes to no longer be a member can see Kookamonga Walpole for a refund of the entrance fee of $350 L.

We are both terribly sorry for any confusion, concern or misunderstandings this situation has created for you!

Sincerely,
"The DaeDae" & "Miranda Priestly"

Modeling photoshoots & being prepared

I had an interesting experience yesterday, that I wanted to share ... food for thought and all ... or maybe lessons learned, who knows lol.

I was contacted yesterday by one of my favorite designers (no lol not me :P). I had contacted her before I started making clothes, asking for a chance to model for her. Well, she contacted me today.

She informed me that her new outfits were very 70's disco style. So I already had this in mind when I chose my hair and makeup and my arriving outfit (my own Snakeskin Spirit lol and a long flexi style hair that's half phony, half down and partially covering the face).

So I went. She was hoping we'd have time to do at least one of the 4 outfits she had just completed. She was tired and wanted to spend time with her guy and I had to go out lol.

Anyway, I arrive, she was very sweet and welcoming. After some light banter and comments of "ooo's and aahhh's" over my AO's poses, she said she was so god awful tired of her poses and was wondering if I had any of my own. Well, luck had it (well, luck or cuz I read up on some things, who knows), I had quite a few that I had purchased for just such an occaision.

She was amazed with them, was so grateful ... she told me, "just keep flipping through them and I'll just snap away." During the shoot a friend of hers showed up and they together were marvelling at my preparedness, my skin, my AO, my poses and my professionalism. I was quick to change, always confirmed with her that I had her styles on correctly and would make sure she had rezzed before I did anything.

Before we knew it, we were done all 4 outfits ... each having 2 versions ... and only about 20-30 minutes had passed. Her friend had made a comment to her that I cannot remember now, but she replied to him, "well, this is how it is when you work with a professional."

Here is one of the many pics she gave me from the shoot. Please feel free to contact her to ask her about me if you want :D.

I hope you found this story enjoyable, inspirational and most importantly, helpful!!

Hugs,
DaeDae

Burning Desire

Just released today, by far my best work yet (I guess you do get better the more you do this lol). Burning Desire has many parts to it. It can be worn as a formal skirt complete with sheer midriff covering and hands in the gloves, or as a sexy party gown with bare belly and bare hands. Even the pants are decorated to look really nice when worn alone with either the sheer or bare tops. The skirt has a belt with long gold chains on hips, pelvis and bottom that the solid black fabric accentuates, while the belt also comes without these dangling flexi chains to be worn with the pants alone.

This gown marks the start of my line in "sizes" as this particular release was made for women with rounder more full hips and bottoms (NO that does not mean fat!). My own shape, as my good friend and associate Kooka says, has no ass and no boobs. Actually, it's a great model's shape I made so that I would have less mod's to make when buying prim clothing. My shape represents "small" whereas more full figure shapes like Kooka's will be designated as "medium." This just means you have breasts c-cup or larger and a lush bottom with wider hips.

Hope you enjoy and look for my past gowns to be released very soon in Medium sizes as well (they are all small for now).

Hugs,
DaeDae

Snakeskin Spirit

I had a moment of wanting something fun and flirty to carouse in. So I made Snakeskin Spirit. The bustier and belt are in an amazing shimmering rainbow snakeskin. The bustier sports 2 purple feather flexi plumes.

Frosty Tiger Lust

Isn't it always the way lol ... you create it in gold, they want silver. You make it red, they beg for blue ... ok, I always aim's to please :). Also launched this week ... Frosty Tiger Lust, cousin to Flaming Tiger Lust. Enjoy!

Updates to an Old Favorite

I had a lot of requests for Black Velvet Desire and Purple Splash in silver (originals had gold jewlry/accents). Here they are ...

Flaming Tiger Lust Dresses

New Gowns ... Flaming Tiger Lust

I've added these 2 new dresses to the line this past week. I hope you like them. The gown is a long double skirted creation while the belly is it's single skirted bare-belly cousin. Each feature gems of roaring tiger faces set in 14k gold.
