I know that it's hard to make one design (with prims anyway) that fits all sizes and shapes. For this reason I offer custom tailoring to all who purchase my designs for an additional $200 Lindens per outfit (it's kinda time consuming lol).
I hope that you will take me up on this if you have purchased one of my designs. I want very much for it to look as good on you as if it were custom made for you! If you look good, I look good lol.
Please know that the prim items are copy/mod so there are some adjustments you can make yourself, but some shapes need more extensive tailoring to make them "just right."
Thanks for visiting and for purchasing a design from the collection of A Dae of Elegance.
Hugs,
DaeDae

Designer Clothes by Daeden? *grins*
So, check this out ... I'm makin clothes now :). This is the first of my elegant line of gowns.I call it "Daeden's Black Velvet Desire." It includes the long belled sleeved under-scalloped shirt in an attractive dark blue shimmered black velvet with matching slightly belled pants and flexi-prim long skirt. Also included is the gold belt and accent bustier.
I made sure the prim parts are copy/mod so that wearers can custom tailor their gown to fit their shape perfectly.
This outfit is actually two in one, it can be worn very easily, as a trendy pants outfit. It's currently only available on SLexchange here: http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=618470.
The second in my new line of gowns, I call "Purple Splash." Another gown/pants outfit, this one features a strappless custom tailored top in dark purple with subtle designer pattern with gold decorated bustier that wraps around the chest. The tight-ankled pants would work well in boots or with shoes and the floor-length skirt turns this trendy pants outfit into an elegant evening gown.
The custom made belt has three tiers of gold wrapping around the hips with an abstract design with gold focal beads.
This design is also available on SLexchange.com, here: http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=618476.
Please give them a look and let me know what you think :).

What does it really take?
I've been applying to designers and agencies, entering contests and trying my darndest to find where the elite meet to greet to get to know people in the fashion industry. What I find interesting is how different everyone handles choosing their models.
One day in one of the modeling groups, someone posted a comment that they were having an open audition right that minute for a modeling contract and to contact them for a tp. So of course I did. Upon arrival, we all stood around making light chatter while our host was rather quiet. We were told to turn off our ao's or any scripts and wait. After a looooong wait for everyone to arrive, we were sorted into groups based on our modeling experience. After a short while, people started to tp out. I was wondering at first until I got a IM that said "I'm sorry, you're not what we're looking for, please leave." So I did.
I was left wondering ... oooookay, so what were you really looking for considering this is a virtual world and I can change my appearance to match anything you want. What are your priorities and under these circumstances, would I really enjoy working with you?
A week later, unrelated to the previous experience, I was chosen for an interview at a modeling agency where they brought me to their facility, sat down with me and talked -- asked questions -- bantered -- strived to get to know me and for me to get to know them. It was a wonderful experience.
I realized at this point that I didn't just want to be hired for modeling gigs, although to gain any recognition I did need to get my face out there ... but I wanted to work with people that I would enjoy. I mean, what's the point if I'm miserable???
It also gave me pause for thought ... I mean really, if you're looking for a model to work with, in a virtual environment, what's most important? The person's personality and ease of working with? Or their current Avie configuration? Any of us can change anything at any time! Insta-Plastic Surgery lol. Gotta Love It!
